Our Story

Let's Celebrate

This is a story of celebration! A celebration of two people finding their "person". The person that brings them joy, comfort and peace on a daily basis. The one that knows what the other is thinking without them saying a word. The person they know will be there when life happens as it does. The person they get to have fun sharing experiences with from now on. It's a knowing of being accepted as they are and totally loved for it. A celebration for two connected souls that get to spend forever together!!

Our Children

We have chosen our children to serve as our wedding party

They are our closest family members and have been through the ups and downs of life with us so we couldn't think of anything more special than to have them by our side as we start this joyful journey together.

Hunter and Praneeka Tranchina

Hunter will stand with us as a Best Man while Praneeka will stand with us as a Bridesmaid. Hunter is the oldest child of the Groom. Hunter and Praneeka were married in 2025 and have made their home in the Dallas area. Hunter is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Prosper Counseling and Praneeka is a Program Manager of Nursing Communications at UT Southwestern. Together they enjoy traveling and trying new foods from different cultures. They also enjoy searching for unique treasures on Facebook Marketplace.

Kane and Darby Ross

Kane will stand with us as a Best Man while Darby will stand with us as a bridesmaid. Kane is the oldest son of the bride. He and Darby were married in 2025 and they live and work in Georgetown, Texas. Kane is the owner of Double Check Irrigation and Darby is the ARD facilitator for children with special needs in Georgetown ISD. Together they enjoy gaming and getting together with friends. Kane likes tinkering in his shop and building things while Darby enjoys reading, and crafting.

Haley and Matt Symes

Haley will stand with us as a Matron of Honor and Matt as a Groomsman. Haley is the youngest child of Chris and only daughter. She and Matt were married in 2023. They live and work in Lufkin, Texas. Haley is a Texas Rising Star Mentor and Matt is a test engineer for Lockheed Martin. For fun Haley loves gaming and Matt loves hunting and fishing. Together they enjoy camping and hanging out with their 3 pets.

Kip Ross and Cynthia Cisneros

Kip will stand with us as a Best Man and Cynthia will stand as a Bridesmaid. Kip is the youngest son of the bride. Cynthia is his significant other. They both live and work in Denton, Texas. Kip works as an Ecologist at Battelle and Cynthia works for the University of North Texas as Assistant Director of Outdoor Pursuits. They both have a love for rock climbing, cooking, hanging out with their friends and anything nature related.

Will the ceremony and reception be inside or outside?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. Ceremony will be on an open lawn area. The reception will be in a covered pavilion with 3 walls. Heaters and or fans will be used accordingly.

Are there rooms blocked and discounted?

Yes, there are rooms blocked and discounted for the wedding at Carter Creek Winery Resort and Spa however there are a limited amount and MUST be booked by March 10th. Please use the link located in the information below the invitation.
